There isn't much happy stuff going on in my life. Lately, the only thing remotely interesting to me is Sell This House with the lovely Tanya Memme.
I've been toying with the idea of selling all my music gear -- all of it. There is little chance of me ever becoming a rock star. I rarely pick up the guitar and I enjoy it very little when I do. Nobody gives two poops if I play or not...so I might as well invest all that tied-up cash in next month's rent.
I spent this evening writing up a demo case for a bug I think I found in Mozilla and Firefox. It has to do with a weird rendering of <div> elements when (in styles) the width is specified in percentages and there is padding. I would post the example here but it's kind of pointless -- most of you are using IE which draws everything correctly. The latest Opera seems to do it right too.
Something must have broken because this particular style combination used to work on Moz 1.5, as did some other things that are now whacked-out on my page.
I searched around for the right way to report a Mozilla bug. I glanced at a few of the similar or related issues in the Bugzilla system.
It's a mess.
I'll just post my observation in a newsgroup and maybe somebody will check it out.
In other news...
It was fun to learn that my ex-girlfriend is/was bonking a computer programmer with questionable spelling skills.
Paul?? God, NO! Silvertone? I will be buying my guitars from him from now on, thank you.
I toured the "MaxiPad 2" with Ron last week. It's the latest habitat of Amanda Hug-and-kiss et al. It's a cool place.
Don Jovi continues to derogate my music on a regular basis.
Stuff sucks.
