!Lumbo Rock! [ Aug 30 2004 08:33 PM ]
Geoff is happy in this picture

Okay, I ain't gonna sell my music gear anytime soon. My beloved "Ric James" will stay in Eugene with my 1/2-ton Sunn rig.

Many thanks to Ron and Nick for convincing me to keep the stuff. Sincere thanks also go out to Mary for her support and a nifty corkscrew!

You know, I am just a "Working Man" "Finding My Way" to something "Closer to the Heart." I thought the "Big Money" proceeds from my equipment sales could make me a "New World Man" -- but I was mistaken. With the help of my friends and "The Spirit of Radio", I realized that I don't need to be in the "Limelight" or "In the Mood" all the time to be happy. "In the End", "What You're Doing" to get by in life isn't all that matters. "Making Memories" with your buddies and searching for that personal "Anthem" is important as well. From now on, I will try the "Best I Can" to stay positive and upbeat about life. We all "Need Some Love", and I can't live without my first love, music.

For those of you who were not (or did not know) a high school percussionist, the above paragraph is a perverse mad lib using the titles of Rush songs. Oh...it's bad. But I know Ron will get a kick out of it -- and maybe Lance will too if he ever reads my page.

Ingrid drew this picture of me with the powerful MS Paint program. I look pretty damn good despite the obvious swelling in my fingers.

Speaking of digits, I heard about Keith's rockin' good time at the Zeke and Clerks show. Man, I hope you're finger is feeling better!

Finally...

I am nearing 10,000 documents archived in the "scan and shred" collection. I am determined to live in an almost paper-free environment.

Mary, have you been to the famous Temples of Syrinx in Mexico City? They're located at a beautiful lakeside park that Ron has always wanted to visit. I believe La Villa Strangiato is where you'll find the trees overlooking the temples. Definitely make an effort to trek out there when Ron is in town!
